Over the last couple of years Energy and Technical Services has been active in reducing energy consumption and latterly successfully tendering electricity for a number of key public sector bodies including the hospitals, local and regional authorities, universities, polytechnics and research institutes.

Energy Management Plans and Projects

Energy and Technical Services has extensive experience in energy management. We have developed the skills of our professional staff through many energy management exercises, energy audits and energy saving works projects and are now recognised as being one of the leading organisations internationally in this field.

Activities have included overall energy management strategies, energy tariff reviews, energy use benchmarking and the evaluation and the implementation of specific energy/cost savings projects.

ETS also specialise in the development of Energy Conservation and hence Energy Management Plan (EMP) brings together a broad spectrum of ideas, factors, problems and solutions structured into a methodical framework to relate and integrate the various complex parts into a unified whole.

An EMP encompasses within its scope not only the more typically associated elements of direct energy consumption (electricity and gas) but also by implication the energy consumed by management, operational and maintenance staff in its monitoring and remedial action where problems or under-performance are encountered.
